I'm Raluca
A soul living the human experience.
I’m in love with travelling, exploring and discovering the beautiful world we live in, while knowing, embracing and expanding the beautiful souls we all are.
I grew up in Romania, in a family that believed education and hard work will bring happiness and success. I was encouraged to study well and have good grades, so that’s what I did. While I realized later on that those things are not really the keys to a fulfilled life, the one thing I continued doing was to learn.
My first time abroad was at 16. My parents were never really the travel type, mostly because we never owned a car until 2020 and we didn’t have a great financial situation. Even so, we would always go somewhere close once a year, like some hot springs in the county nearby. My first journey abroad was a high school trip at the seaside in Greece for about 2 weeks or so.

Even though I followed the “normal” route and went all the way to completing a master’s degree, I did my best learning outside of the formal education system. When I was a second year student in university, I got the opportunity to live in the US for the summer and that was one of my life’s major turning points. Living, working and travelling in a different country greatly shifted my perspective. When I came back, the way I was living didn’t really make sense anymore and I started redesigning my entire life experience. My priorities changed and I joined a wonderful NGO called AIESEC, where I started an active personal development journey.
Since then, I have been able to travel to 16 countries and live in 5 of them. I have interacted with different cultures and studied and worked in diverse environments. I redefined who I am, what I stand for and how I express myself in the world. I have been set on a path of discovery and investigation that I am committed to pursue for the rest of my life on Earth.
All these experiences I lived and the inner work I did to integrate them have deeply transformed me and helped me grow into a better version of myself. It’s safe to say that I am who I am today thanks to travel and learning. It’s what I love doing most and what makes me feel alive.
I have embarked on a path to create a life beyond my wildest dreams and I’d love to share my journey and experience with you. I believe that sharing this beautiful journey called Life can awaken us to live from our core selves and co-create a world that is better for everyone.
I’m sure this page won’t help you fully know me, but I hope I have been able to at least open the gateway to my soul here. If my story touched your heart in any way, let’s stay connected.
I send out weekly emails with new articles, resources and ideas to help you discover and explore the world and your greatest self.
